THE ARTIST

Banker2baker was founded in 2015 by Zulkiflee, a former banker who became passionate about all things cake. A small family side business had started way back in 2008, but 2015 marked a new era. Focusing more on creating memorable wedding cakes, he never stopped learning. A keen student, he started off his journey at the International Centre of Cake Artistry (ICCA) in Kuala Lumpur as well as anumber of mastery sugar flower courses that took him around the world in places such as Tokyo, Singapore, and Paris. He is at most tranquil and in his elements at his studio, located in the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur, surrounded with delicate sugar flowers of his own makings and it is his masterful hands that craft and mold each and every petal with eye to perfection.
